Faith in Uncertain Times

Things never work out the way we expect them to. Something as simple as dropping your car off for routine maintenance may turn into a majestic demonstration of how your plans are not based in reality and you didn't even know it. Then along comes a plague that fundamentally alters everything you had planned for the foreseeable future. For example, my daughter who was selected for an exchange to Britain for the summer through cadets is now looking for a part-time job she can do in quarantine times.

It is good to have a faith in a God who is bigger than the events and trials and to know with good reason, from the example of others, that 'in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to com, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.'
